As an Urban Development Intern, you will contribute to shaping sustainable and inclusive spaces within our community projects. Working closely with our planning team, you will assist in analyzing spatial data, developing innovative urban solutions, and supporting policy recommendations. Your role will be crucial in addressing challenges like mobility, housing, and public space management, ensuring a positive impact on the lives of residents and the broader urban environment.
Assignment examples:
1. Urban Data Analysis- Collect and analyze spatial data to identify trends and patterns in urban development. Use tools like GIS to create maps and visuals that inform planning decisions.
2. Community Needs assessment- Engage with local communities to assess their needs and priorities, ensuring their input is reflected in urban planning projects.
3. Sustainable Mobility Planning- Support the development of strategies for sustainable transportation systems, including pedestrian-friendly zones, cycling infrastructure, and public transport
4. Public Space Design- Assist in designing inclusive and multifunctional public spaces that enhance community interaction and well-being.
5. Policy and Regulation Research- Conduct research on urban planning policies and zoning regulations to ensure project proposals comply with legal frameworks.
6. Project Reporting and Presentation- Prepare detailed project reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders effectively.
